Title: The Storm By: Clive Cussler.
Setting: The story proceeds in two different settings, the protagonist’s story takes place in the middle of the Indian Ocean on a mobile floating island, while Antagonist’s takes place in a oasis in the middle of a dessert called Yemen.
Problem: The protagonist works for a group called NUMA. The problem is that one of their research vessels was found burnt completely by small microbots.
Characters: Kurt Austin, Joe Zavala, Jinn Al-Khalif , The Trouts, Leilani Tanner, and Elwood Marchetti.
Character transformation: Kurt Austin evolves in the story. In the beginning of the story Kurt is the type of guy that thinks that he should only find out what happened and not get revengeful. Later in the story he realizes that he has to take action and if he doesn’t then nobody will. Also in the beginning of the story he tries to find clues that are very complex. later on he realizes that the clues have to be vey simple and not so complex. He then starts to look for simple clues and solves the case.
Solution: The solution of the story is that Kurt decides to go more in depth of the situation then just what hapened on the boat. He infiltrates the enemy base and the U.S government blows the place up and puts the Antagonist ( Jinn Al-Khalif) in jail and locks him up forever.
